KaOS is an independent rolling-release distribution featuring the latest KDE Plasma Desktop, Calligra office suite, and other software based on the Qt Toolkit. Inspired by Arch Linux, software is available from in-house repositories. KaOS is built exclusively for 64-bit processors.

"All work is geared toward packaging, not developing new tools or applications. There is no goal to make the most possible software available, KaOS will stay limited in size of the repositories, and will work on quality instead of quantity."
